• Design:  multifaceted in the shape of a brilliant-cut diamond.
• Back stamp:  no stamping or etching of the manufacturer.

• the item is a tabletop decor and could very well be used as a fancy paper weight.
• I bought the item from a New Age Feng Shui boutique in the Philippines in 2009.

• Did you know that the item is considered as a representation of a Wish-fulfilling Jewel by New Age Feng Shui practitioners?  The wish-fulfilling jewel is one of the 8 auspicious objects in Buddhism.  It represents the EARTH element.  As such, it is associated with wealth.  Practitioners also use the jewel in "visualization" techniques.  The red wish-fulfilling jewel in particular is used for recognition, success, and fame-related aspirations. 
• Did you know that the red variety of lead crystal is one of the more expensive kind?  I was told that a bit of gold has to be incorporated in order to obtain the beautiful intense vermillion red color in crystals.
